Great Plates Program Available in Marina!
The Great Plates Program is designed to help seniors shelter in place and minimize trips outside of the home. Services include up to 3 meals a day, seven days a week to older adults 60 years of age and older that qualify. Restaurants Deliver: Home Meals for Seniors
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Governor Newsom has partnered with FEMA to launch a meal delivery food program for seniors.
​
The program allows seniors at home to have nutritious meals be delivered to their home three times a day, the seven days of the week. There is currently no cap on the number of meals received. Local restaurants, appointed by local governments, will make the food deliveries. Local delivering restaurants are encouraged to use locally produced food.
The program has begun. To determine if you are eligible please cal 2-1-1 or/and visit CA Covid -19 website.
